This is one of the best recipes I have ever tasted

Great recipe! I omitted the celery and garlic, reduced the pepper to 1 tsp, and added a beaten egg with a dash of milk.  They came out moist and delicious!

My whole family loves these!  I always leave out the celery and onion, but they bake up just fine without adding anything to them.  Such a good flavor.  When the kids eat them, I sometimes use regular mild cheddar cheese instead of sharp so they are slightly sweeter tasting.  Very good for an appetizer or for breakfast, or brunch or even just a snack!!

I made these exactly as the recipe says and my husband went nuts for them! I thought they were too oniony, but at least 10 people at a Christmas party told me they were the best sausage balls they had ever eaten!

I'm a little confused.  This recipe calls for "16 oz. (4 cups) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese", I thought there was 8 oz  per cup.  4 cups would mean 32 oz or am I missing something?  Is this weight or volume or what?

absolutely easy to make and delicious.
