Sage Sausage and Apple Crepes

Crepes aren't just for people who want to spend all morning in the kitchen. Let Jimmy Dean® show you an easier way to make this delicious breakfast meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Jimmy Dean® Sage Pork Sausage: (browned, drained, and roughly chopped)
  • 6 store-bought crepes
  • 2 cups Granny Smith apples; peeled, sliced 1/4 inch
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

1. Melt butter in a 10-inch skillet
2. Once melted, stir in brown sugar
3. Add apples to skillet and sauté until slightly softened, approximately 5 minutes
4. Mix in cinnamon, salt, and cream
5. Sprinkle lemon over sausage
6. Add sausage to apple mixture; stir
7. Divide filling into crepes
8. Serve warm
