Sausage and Egg Breakfast Burrito

Wrap eggs, peppers and Jimmy Dean® Turkey Sausage Crumbles in a flour tortilla for a nutritious breakfast you can enjoy at home or on the go.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Jimmy Dean® Turkey Sausage Crumbles
  • 2 tablespoons each chopped green bell pepper and onion
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ cup cholesterol-free egg product
  • 2 whole wheat flour tortillas (10 inch), warmed
  • ¼ cup shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend
  • 2 tablespoons salsa Sour cream and avocado slices for serving (optional)

Directions

1. Cook and stir sausage, green pepper and onion in medium nonstick skillet over medium heat 5-6 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly heated and vegetables are crisp-tender.

2. Add egg product; cook and stir 3-4 minutes or until egg product is set, stirring occasionally.

3. Spoon half of the sausage mixture down center of each tortilla; top with half each of the cheese and salsa. Fold in opposite sides of each tortilla, then roll up.

4. Serve topped with sour cream and avocados, if desired. Cook’s Tip: Refer to package directions for how to warm tortillas.
