Simple Sausage and Cheese Omelet

Make an amazing omelette in just two shakes! Open fully-cooked Jimmy Dean® Turkey Sausage Crumbles and add them to your favorite veggies for a quick and easy breakfast you'll love.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ¼ cup Jimmy Dean® Turkey Sausage Crumbles
  • ¼ cup baby spinach leaves
  • ¼ cup chopped tomato
  • ¼ cup (1 ounce) shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese

Directions

1. Beat eggs and water in small bowl with wire whisk until well blended.

2. Spray small nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium heat. Add eggs; cover. Cook 5-6 minutes or just until eggs are set, occasionally lifting edge of omelet with spatula to allow uncooked portion to flow underneath.

3. Top half of omelet with sausage, spinach, tomato and cheese; fold in half. Cover, cook 3 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
