Jimmy Dean Sausage Mushroom Dip

Ingredients:

  1. 2 pkgs. Regular Flavor Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
  2. 2 tablespoons minced garlic (about 4 large cloves)
  3. 16 oz. fresh button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  4. 1 can (10 oz.) diced tomatoes & green chiles, with liquid
  5. 1 lb. (16 oz.) process cheese spread, cut up
  6. 1 can (10.5 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  7. chips, crackers or pita crisps

Directions:

In a 4-6 quart saucepan or stockpot, cook sausage over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink. Stir in drained tomatoes & green chiles and mushrooms; cover and cook 2 minutes. Stir in cheese spread and condensed mushroom soup; reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered until melted, stirring frequently. Transfer to serving bowl, chafing dish or slow cooker. Serve hot with chips, crackers or crisps.

Serving size:

Makes about 7-1/2 cups
