Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage and Apple Crepes

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 pound Jimmy Dean Sage Pork Sausage: (browned, drained, and roughly chopped)
  2. 6 store-bought crepes
  3. 2 cups Granny Smith apples; peeled, sliced 1/4 inch
  4. 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  5. 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
  6. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  7. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  8. 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

1. Melt butter in a 10-inch skillet
2. Once melted, stir in brown sugar
3. Add apples to skillet and sauté until slightly softened, approximately 5 minutes
4. Mix in cinnamon, salt, and cream
5. Sprinkle lemon over sausage
6. Add sausage to apple mixture; stir
7. Divide filling into crepes
8. Serve warm
