Jimmy Dean Meat Lovers Stromboli

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pkg. Regular Flavor Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained
  2. 1 loaf (1 lb.) frozen bread dough, thawed
  3. 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
  4. 1 package (6 oz.) pepperoni
  5. 12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  6. olive oil
  7. oregano and Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 F. Roll dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12" x 17" rectangle and place on ungreased baking pan. Spread sauce on the rectangle to within 1" of edges. Arrange pepperoni evenly over top of sauce; sprinkle sausage over pepperoni. Cover meat with mozzarella cheese. Fold dough and filling lengthwise into thirds, overlapping the two outer thirds over the middle third. Tuck short sides of dough under loaf to seal. Brush top with oil; sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese if desired. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

I made this for dinner last night and it was a HUGE hit! Delicious! Instead of the pepperoni I added mushrooms. I also cut the dough into 4 individual stromboli's. Great recipe!
